
The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford women's swim team nearly knocked off AMCC foe, Penn State Behrend, but ultimately fell 99-94, Friday night in the Duke Aquatic Center.
Prior to the meet the Panthers honored senior Wehonna Toth.
Toth had a strong meet, finishing second in the 200 backstroke (2:34.62) before joining Liz Prager, Ava Young and Ann Confer for a victory in the 200 free relay (1:49.79).
Prager added an individual victory in the 500 free (5:49.62) and finished second in the 100 back (1:07.47).
Young won the 100 back (1:06.77) and finished second in the 200 IM (2:36.18).
Confer chipped in with a victory in the 50 free (25.63). Jillian Wright rounded out the Panther's successful day with a victory in the 100 breaststroke (2:58.62).
Pitt-Bradford returns to action Feb. 10 at the Grove City Championships.
