Panthers Men's Tennis To Resume 2018-19 Season At Medaille Saturday

BRADFORD, Pa. -- The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford men's tennis team is set to begin the spring portion of its 2018-19 season Saturday at Medaille for an Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference match.

Pitt-Bradford went 1-4 during the fall while collecting a 1-3 record in AMCC matches.

The Panthers' win came on the road at Penn State-Altoona, 6-3, on Oct. 6.

With four conference matches complete, Pitt-Bradford has already completed the bulk of its AMCC slate, with four teams having completed just one conference match and two more yet to take on an AMCC opponent.

Following Saturday's matchup with Medaille, Pitt-Bradford will host Mount Aloysius on April 12 to conclude its AMCC schedule.

Three home non-conference matches against Alfred (March 1), Bethany (March 3) and Thiel (April 4) round out the Panthers' schedule.

In the fall, Jeffrey Kocjancic and Jacob Volz led the team with a pair of singles wins apiece.

In doubles action, Matthew Dennis teams up with Volz in the top spot. The tandem picked up a 1-2 record in the fall.

The regular No. 2 doubles team of Kocjancic and Drew Patla also went 1-2.

Joining the Panthers for the spring slate is Noah Bartholomew.

Action at Medaille is set for 2 p.m.
