UPB Men Move Into Second at AMCC Championships

The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford men's swimming team jumped up to second place after the second day of the AMCC Championships at Grove City College on Friday evening.

Corey Koss led the Panthers with a victory in the 100 backstroke with a time of 55.66. He then teamed with Jeff Cattoni, Alex Renwick and Lucas Cerchiaro finished second in the 200 medley relay with a time of 1:40.56.

Cerchiaro finished second in the 100 fly with a time of 53.25 while Carey Behm finished fourth in the 200 free with a time of 1:49.62. Cattoni followed with a fourth place finish and a time of 1:03.01 in the 100 breast.

Zach France, Steiner, Renwick and Koss rounded out the day with a second place finish in the 800 free relay with a time of 7:35.40.

Penn State Behrend holds a commanding lead with 255 points while the Panthers are in second with 100 points.

The event concludes tomorrow, beginning with the preliminaries at 10 a.m. and finals at 6 p.m.
