BRADFORD, Pa. – The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford men's basketball team held the lead at halftime but Pitt-Greensburg ultimately overcame the Panthers, 86-74, Saturday afternoon in an Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference game at the KOA Arena.

"We played a solid first half," Head Coach Sean Brown Sr. said. "But, we still need to learn how to put two halves together."

Christian Kelly-Perkins led all scorers with 24 points.

Dylan Niedermeyer recorded his fourth double-double of 11 points and 10 rebounds.

Also scoring in double-figures for the Panthers was Dylan Mitchell with a season-high 16 and Reggie Rogers with 10.

Down 12-5 four minutes into the game, the Panthers went on a 14-2 run and brought the score to 19-14 with 13:23 left in the half.

The Panthers maintained a steady lead and went up by as many as 10 with a three-ball from Kelly-Perkins at the 8:46 mark.

But a 17-4 Pitt-Greensburg run gave the Bobcats a 37-34 lead with just over one minute to play.

Back-to-back three-pointers from Kelly-Perkins and Colby Mills in the final minute of the half sent the Panthers into the break holding a 40-37 advantage.

The Panthers dominated the glass in the first half, 23-14, while also grabbing 10 offensive boards. Niedermeyer pulled down eight rebounds in the half – three of which offensive boards.

Kelly-Perkins went 6-10 from the field in the first half, leading all scorers with 14 points at the break.

Greensburg tightened up out of the gate, though, and regained the lead with two quick buckets.

Rogers answered with a three-ball and put the Panthers back on top, 43-41, at the 18:20 mark.

The two teams traded the lead and kept the deficit around low single-digits until the Bobcats went up 10 points, 70-60, at the 8:30 mark, using a 10-2 run to break away.

The Panthers answered, though, once again with back-to-back three-pointers from Kelly-Perkins and Mills. A pair of Niedermeyer free-throws brought the Panther run to 8-0, and the score to 70-68 in favor of Greensburg.

But that would be as close as the Panthers would get the rest of the way as UPG knocked down two-straight three-pointers to extend its lead to 76-68 with 4:35 left.

Free-throws iced the game for the Bobcats and Greensburg took the 86-74 victory.

In total, the Panthers won the rebounding battle, 35-31. In addition to Niedermeyer's 10 boards, Mitchell finished with six.  Pitt-Bradford held Pitt-Greensburg to just three offensive rebounds while grabbing 13 themselves.

Rogers dished out a game-leading eight assists.

Pitt-Bradford knocked down nine three-pointers, four from Kelly-Perkins.

Kelly-Perkins' 10 field goals made is the second-most a Panther has made this season in a single game. He holds the most -- 12 at Penn State-Altoona (Jan. 3).

Up next, the Panthers will head to Hilbert Wednesday for an AMCC matchup.
