BRADFORD, Pa. – The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford men's basketball team will hit the road and take on Division I opponent Colgate Friday.

The last time the Pitt-Bradford faced Division I competition was Nov. 13, 2015, when the Panthers took on the University of Buffalo Bulls on the road. Current players Sahlil Harris and Tim Atkinson each saw time in the contest. Evan Greening led the Panthers with 20 points and 14 rebounds.

Pitt-Bradford most recently fell at Juniata Monday, but prior, earned its first conference win of the season against Mount Aloysius Saturday.

In the victory against the Mounties, Jeffrey Fry knocked down eight three-pointers, a season-high for the Panthers, to lead all scorers with 25 points.

As a team, the Panthers made 13 three-pointers, their most in a single game so far this season. That's ties the most for the program since Jan. 4, 2017 against Penn State-Altoona and March 4, 2009, against Washington & Jefferson.

Malique McCoy scored a career-high 15 points Saturday and followed that up with 14 points Wednesday at Juniata to lead all scorers.

Dylan Niedermeyer – one of two Panthers to start all nine games this season – averages double-figure scoring totals with 10.4 points per game.

With 7.6 rebounds per game, Niedermeyer is the second-leading rebounder in the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference.

At 28.3 minutes per game, Reginald Rogers spends the most time on the court for the Panthers and also leads Pitt-Bradford with 3.8 assists per game – the fifth-best average in the conference.

Friday's game is set to start at 2 p.m. but will serve as the second game of a doubleheader with the Colgate women's team playing earlier.
