Mannering, Rogers Garner AMCC Accolades for Spring Break Performances

Bradford, PA -- The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford baseball team was well represented on the weekly conference honors on Monday as seniors Shawn Mannering and Maxwell Rogers were named AMCC Pitcher and Player of the Week.

Mannering was dominant in his lone start of the week as he led Pitt-Bradford to a 4-1 win over FDU-Florham. Mannering pitched a complete game against the Devils, allowing one earned run on three hits. He struck out 12 batters, including 10 of the first 15 batters he faced. Mannering has been named AMCC Pitcher of the Week once in his career, winning the award in April of 2024.

Rogers hit .538 with two home runs, five runs, eight RBI and four steals in Myrtle Beach last week as he led Pitt-Bradford to a 5-2 record. Rogers also reached base at a .600 clip and slugged .808, as he recorded four multi-hit games, including four hits in a win over Lancaster Bible and three against Neumann. It is the first time Rogers has won the award.
