Four Panthers Garner All-AMCC Honors

Bradford, PA -- The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford baseball team had four team members recognized as All-Conference performers by the AMCC on Tuesday.

Pitt-Bradford had 3 pitchers and one position player recognized. Starting pitcher Shawn Mannering and relief pitcher Ethan Zimmerman made the 2nd team, while starting pitcher Collin Porter and outfielder Maxwell Rogers made the third team.

Shawn Mannering was the ace of the Panthers' staff, posting a 4-5 record with one save, a 2.70 ERA, and 62 strikeouts. He finished the season tied for 1st in ERA, and led the conference in strikeouts per 9 innings pitched at 10.46. This was the senior's second all-conference selection, as he was a first-team pitcher in 2024.

Left-hander Ethan Zimmerman was also named 2nd team all-conference as a relief pitcher. Zimmerman was 1-0 with a 2.59 ERA, allowing 7 earned runs in 12 appearances. He struck out 12 batters on the year. In AMCC play, he made 6 appearances, totaling 17.1 innings. He allowed 4 earned runs for a 2.08 ERA.

Junior Collin Porter made his first all-conference team as a third-team selection. He went 3-2 during the regular season with one save, a 4.50 ERA, and 19 strikeouts. He picked up a huge win over Hilbert, which helped the Panthers secure their first trip to the AMCC tournament since 2021.

Senior Maxwell Rogers was the only position player voted to the all-conference teams, as he received third-team honors as an outfielder. Rogers led the Panthers with a .371 average. He slashed .371/.444/.578 with 4 home runs, 28 RBI, and 21 runs scored. He also added 7 stolen bases. In AMCC play, he hit .349 with 2 home runs and 9 RBI. This was his second straight appearance as a 3rd team outfielder.

The Panthers finished their season 16-18 with a 4-10 mark in AMCC play. They earned a spot in the AMCC tournament as the 6th seed, where they won their first two games, advancing to the winner's bracket final. They rallied twice in their last two games, but fell just short of the AMCC Championship game.
