Baldwin Wallace swept the Pitt-Bradford baseball team Sunday in New Market, Va., by scores of 22-1 and 14-5.

The Yellow Jackets jumped ahead 6-1 in the second inning of game one and never looked back, finishing with 21 hits and a pair of homers. Offensively, the Panthers managed just three hits. Brock Blovsky represented Pitt-Bradford's only run, scoring on Austin Parent's sacrifice fly in the first inning.

Justin Beimel was tagged with the loss, allowing 12 runs, six earned, in 3.2 innings. The Panther defense did the pitching staff no favors, committing four errors.

Baldwin Wallace scored three runs in the third and tacked four more on in the fourth to run away with game two. The Yellow Jackets battered the Panthers for another 17 hits, including six extra base hits.

Ryan Boyer suffered the loss on the mound, yielding seven runs in four innings, walking four and striking out two. Dalton Renn homered for the second time in three games, a two-run shot, and Brody Wood and Tyler Hoops each had a RBI single.

Pitt-Bradford drops to 1-2 on the season and will look to regroup this week before departing for Ft. Myers, Fla., for its annual Spring Break trip.
