Four Panthers Make Volleyball All-Conference Teams, Reese Named Newcomer of the Year

Bradford, Pa. -- The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford volleyball team had four players recognized by the AMCC on Wednesday, as the conference released its all-conference teams and post-season awards.

The four Panthers to make the all-conference teams were Emily Cleveland, Tabitha Walker, Olivia Reese, and Jordan Sitler, while Reese was also named conference newcomer of the year.

Emily Cleveland was named to the first team in her final season in Bradford. It is the third time she has been named to the 1st team in her career (2017 & 2019). Cleveland once again led the AMCC in kills, finishing the season with 346.  She tallied 3.98 kills per set as she posted a hitting percentage of .265. She also had 37 total blocks and 7 service aces. Cleveland was named conference player of the week once this season. She finishes her career with 1,328 kills, which is in the top 5 totals in program history.

Junior setter Tabitha Walker was named to the 2nd team. She had previously been named to the 3rd team in her only other season in Bradford. Walker led the AMCC with 750 assists for the entire season. In conference play, she tallied 232 assists, the second-most in the AMCC. Walker also added 30 aces, 13 total blocks, and 61 kills. 

Olivia Reese was named to the third team, as well as being named the top newcomer to the conference. She is the first Panther to be named AMCC Newcomer of the Year since Cleveland won the award in 2017. The freshman finished the season 3rd in the AMCC in kills with 219. She posted a .206 hitting percentage while adding 26 service aces, 140 digs, and 19 total blocks.

Fellow freshman Jordan Sitler was also named to the third team. Sitler finished the year 5th in the conference in blocks with 55 despite missing the Panthers final four games due to injury. She also had 137 kills, 18 service aces, and 49 digs.
