Panther Volleyball Returns to KOA Arena Looking to Extend Streak

Bradford, Pa. -- The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford volleyball team will play their second game of the season at KOA Arena on Wednesday night against Penn State-DuBois.

The Panthers enter the match on a 9-game winning streak. Over the weekend, they won their second straight tournament, going 3-0 at the Knights Invitational, hosted by Neumann. Not only did the Panthers win all three matches, but they also swept each of them in three sets.

Emily Cleveland has led the way for the Panthers in her senior campaign. She is 13th in the country in total kills with 179. She leads the AMCC in Kills, Kills per set, and total points. Junior setter Tabitha Walker has also gotten off to an excellent start. She is currently 24th in the country in assists, with 402. Walker was named to the Knights Invitational All-Tournament team over the weekend. 

Penn State-DuBois enters the match with a 4-2 record. They fell in their last match, losing 3-1 to Penn State-Mont Alto on Sunday.

Sydney Kaschalk leads the Lions with 77 kills. She is also the most efficient attacker for the Lions, hitting at a .426 percentage. Catherine Gregory serves as Penn state-Dubois's setter, dishing out 224 assists in 25 sets. They complete most of their defensive work at the net, as Nicolette Brossard and Kaschalk have 37 blocks each in just six matches.

The following regulations will be in place to align with Pitt-Bradford's COVID-19 mitigation efforts for indoor events. All spectators, game staff, officials, and team members not actively participating on the court are required to wear a mask at all times. Masks must be affixed to cover the wearer's nose and mouth. All spectators will be required to sign in upon their entrance into the facility, as the lists will be used in any contact tracing efforts that may become necessary. They will be required to provide a name and contact phone number to game staff.

The match is scheduled to begin at 7:00 p.m. in KOA Arena
