Pitt-Bradford Women's Volleyball Continues To Rise In NCAA Division III Stat Categories

BRADFORD, Pa. -- After the most recent statistics update, the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford women's volleyball team continues to rise in many NCAA Division III stat categories.

Defensively, the Panthers have the most total digs in the nation with 1,590. They are tied with Westminster (Pa.) for the national lead.

The Panthers' defense is anchored by libero Laura Hildebrand, who ranks sixth in the country with 437 total digs and 20th with 5.33 digs per set.

Pitt-Bradford owns one of the top hitting duos in the country, as Riley Anderson and Emily Cleveland both rank in the top 15 in NCAA Division III in total kills.

Anderson has knocked 272 total kills, which ranks 10th in the country, while Cleveland has 265 total kills for 14th best in the nation.

With 767 total attacks, Anderson also ranks 10th nationally in that category.

The duo also ranks in the top 30 nationally in kills per set, Anderson with 3.73 (23rd) and Cleveland with 3.63 (28th).

As a team, the Panthers have the 14th most total kills with 977.

Distributing the ball to the hitters is Payton Orzech, whose 10.01 assists per set is the 13th best average in the country and 731 total assists are 14th most in NCAA Division III.

At the net, the Panthers have the eighth most total blocks in the country with 156.

Katie Treat ranks 25th nationally with 66 total blocks, and Alexandra Segura's 0.89 blocks per set is the 43rd best average in the nation.

The Panthers rank first in the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference in all team stat categories.

With a 13-9 overall record, the Panthers are tied with Penn State-Behrend for the most overall wins in the conference so far this season.

Pitt-Bradford will resume AMCC action Wednesday on the road at Medaille before venturing out of conference play Saturday for a tri-match at Frostburg State.
