Lady Panthers drop game one 3-0 to Fredonia State

Pitt-Bradford (8-14, 2-1) struggled to find any consistency either offensively or defensively against a strong opponent in Fredonia State.

The Blue Devils (12-6, 3-0) racked up a total of 34 kills during the match to Pitt-Bradford's 16.

Sophomore Kelsey Repke was the only Panther to finish with double digit statistical figures, as she tallied 13 digs during the contest to lead Pitt-Bradford defensively. Offensively, senior Taylor McMillen continued paced the Panthers with six kills, one assist and three digs.

Fellow senior Brittni Cumberland once again joined McMillen at the top of the stat sheet as she registered seven assists to go with three kills and six digs. Sophomore Brittany Watts finished with three kills from her middle blocker position and junior Jenessa Ceprish had eight digs defensively.

Pitt-Bradford squares off with Frostburg in game two of the tournament beginning at 8 p.m. The Lady Panthers are back in action tomorrow with games at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.
