Volleyball set to host annual Dig Pink Night on Oct. 7

BRADFORD, Pa. – The Pitt-Bradford volleyball team is set to host its annual Dig Pink Night on Tuesday, Oct. 7. The Lady Panthers host conference-foe Hilbert at 7 p.m. inside the KOA Arena.

Dig Pink is sponsored by the Side-Out Foundation and promotes national breast cancer awareness during the month of October. This will be the sixth year in a row the Panthers have taken part in the event to raise money for research and finding a cure for the deadly disease.

The volleyball team will be selling t-shirts and accepting donations the night of the game.

Even though this is a one night event, the Lady Panthers will be taking donations for the entire month of October. Visit https://www.side-out.org/cb/campaigns/campaign/9342, and fill out the appropriate information to be part of this year's event. They will also have a table set up in the commons from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. on Oct. 7, 15, 20, 24 and 30.

You can also log on to the volleyball team's Facebook page, Pitt-Bradford Women's Volleyball, for more information and updates on the event throughout October.
