Women's Tennis Looks to Build Momentum

Bradford, Pa. -- The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford women's tennis team will look to build off of their 6-3 victory over Medaille as they will host Alfred University on Thursday.

The Panthers began their season on Tuesday, splitting a doubleheader with Medaille. The Panthers lost the first match 5-3, but battled back to earn a 6-3 win in match two. Madilyn Rodgers picked up three wins over the two matches to lead the Panthers. Maya Schiplick also picked up her first collegiate win at #2 in the nightcap.

Alfred enters the matchup up at 2-0 after dominating their opponents to begin the season. They started their season with a 9-0 shutout win over Fredonia, and followed that with an 8-1 victory over Lycoming.

The match is scheduled to begin at 4:00 p.m. on the tennis courts at the Kessel Athletic Complex.
