Women's Tennis Season Comes to an End in AMCC Playoffs

Buffalo, NY -- The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford women's tennis season came to an end on Saturday, as they lost the race to 5 against the 4th seeded D'Youville Spartans. The Panthers were only able to muster 1 point before their opponent hit the magic number to bring the match to an end.

In doubles play, the Panther's lost the top two matches but were able to get a win at #3 doubles. Jessica Jordan and Caroline Hance picked up their 6th straight victory to end the season, as they easily handled their opponents by a score of 8 to 1.

Moving to singles play, the Panthers were unable to move towards the 5 points necessary to clinch a team victory, as they lost the top three matches. Elanie Roberts came the closest to picking up a singles win as she was able to force a deciding third set but fell in the tiebreaker to end the match.

The Panthers finish their season with a 5-6 record, along with a return to the conference playoffs after a year hiatus.
