
CRESSON, Pa. -- The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford women's tennis team battled hard but narrowly fell at Mount Aloysius in an Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference match, 5-4.
The Panthers earned a win in doubles action with an 8-5 win in the No. 3 spot as Jessica Jordan and Caroline Hance came out on top in their matchup.
Then in singles action, Abbie Buerkle won her No. 3 singles matchup due to a retired opponent while Jordan captured the No. 5 singles win 7-5, 6-4.
The final Panthers win came in the No. 6 spot from Hance in a tough battle, 2-6, 7-5, 10-5.
Up next, Pitt-Bradford will continue AMCC action hosting Medaille on Wednesday.
