
BRADFORD, Pa. – The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford women's tennis team will resume Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference action Friday with a trip to Oxford Club to face La Roche.
Pitt-Bradford is still in search of its first victory of the season, most recently facing the AMCC powerhouse Franciscan in a road contest Sunday.
On the season, Katelyn Wells leads the team with a pair of singles wins, both coming in the No. 6 spot.
Abbie Buerkle, Jessica Jordan and Elanie Roberts have also picked up victories in singles action.
The doubles tandem of Buerkle and Aaliyah Smith has had the most success for Pitt-Bradford, picking up a pair of victories in the No. 3 spot.
La Roche welcomes the Panthers with an overall mark of 2-4 and a conference record of 2-3, picking up victories over Penn State-Behrend (Sept. 7) and Pitt-Greensburg (Sept. 14).
After battling La Roche, the Panthers will welcome Penn State-Behrend Friday, Oct. 5, at 5 p.m. for the first match on the newly renovated Pitt-Bradford outdoor courts at the Kessel Athletic Complex.
Friday's action is set to begin at 5 p.m.
