
BUFFALO, N.Y. -- The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford women's tennis team continued Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference action Tuesday, falling at Medaille 6-2.
"Our ground strokes and serves were effective today," Head Coach Susan Schenfield said. "Our safe, patient way of constructing sets needed more time to develop today."
Pitt-Bradford first picked up a victory in doubles action, as the No. 3 team of Aaliyah Smith and Abbie Buerkle picked up the 8-5 win.
The No. 1 doubles matchup featuring Maya Bingaman and Divya Guwalani finished with a competitive score of 8-4.
The other victory of the evening came in No. 2 singles as Elanie Roberts won in three sets, 4-6, 6-1, 11-9.
Pitt-Bradford moves to 0-5 on the season with three AMCC setbacks.
The Panthers will be in action next on Sunday at Franciscan. The match is set for a 3 p.m. start.
