"We were much more consistent today," Head Coach Susan Schenfield said. "Our straight-back , straight-forward strokes worked well, and as a team, we will continue to work on the pressure of the moment."

In No. 5 singles, Katelyn Wells battled to a hard-fought 7-5, 6-7, 7-6, victory.

Jessica Jordan rounded out the Panthers' scoring as she won, 6-2, 6-0, in the No. 6 spot.

The Panthers saw tight matches in doubles action as the No. 2 team of Jessica Jordan and Maya Bingaman narrowly missed topping their opponents, 7-9.

Rebecca Jordan and Aaliya Smith were just as tight with their No. 3 opponents, finishing just shy at 8-6.

The Panthers will play their next match at home as they welcome Houghton on Monday for the team's first non-conference action. The match will begin at 6 p.m.
