Panthers Drop Match to Penn State Altoona

The Pitt-Bradford women's tennis team dropped an 8-1 decision to Penn State Altoona Sunday.

Ashley Stoltz registered the Panthers' only win, defeating her opponent 6-2, 6-2 in the No. 5 singles matchup. It was her third win of the season, tying her with Maya Bingaman for the team lead.

In other results, Bingaman lost 6-0, 6-2, Rebecca Jordan fell 6-1, 6-0, Amy Thomas lost 6-1, 7-5, Ava Young dropped a 6-2, 6-0 decision and Kayla Kerner suffered a 6-1, 6-0 setback.

Pitt-Bradford drops to 1-7 on the season and 1-6 in conference play. The Panthers host Medaille Monday.
