The Pitt-Bradford women's tennis team dropped a pair of AMCC matches Saturday. The Panthers fell to La Roche 8-1 and lost 8-0 to Franciscan.
La Roche swept doubles play against the Panthers. Pitt-Bradford's only win came in the No. 5 singles flight where Ashley Stoltz won 6-7, 6-4, 10-6. In other results, Maya Bingaman fell 6-3, 6-2, Rebecca Jordan lost 6-2, 6-4, Amy Thomas fell 6-4, 6-3 and Ava Young was defeated 6-2, 6-2.
Against Franciscan, Bingaman lost 6-1, 6-0, Jordan fell 7-5, 6-1, Thomas dropped a 6-4, 6-3 decision, Young lost 7-6, 6-2 and Katelyn Wells was defeated 6-1, 6-0.
Pitt-Bradford drops to 1-5 on the season and will host Penn State Behrend Tuesday.
