The Pitt-Bradford women's tennis team dropped its season opener Saturday to Pitt-Greensburg, 7-2.
The Bobcats swept doubles yet all three matches were close with Pitt-Greensburg prevailing by scores of 9-7, 8-6 and 8-6. Ashley Stoltz and Amy Thomas won their singles matches for Pitt-Bradford. Stoltz won 6-1, 6-2 and Thomas rallied to win in three sets 4-6, 7-0, 10-6.
Pitt-Bradford will travel to Houghton Friday for a non-conference match.
