Women's Tennis Drops 9-0 Decision at PSU Behrend

ERIE, Pa. – The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford women's tennis team dropped a 9-0 decision Tuesday afternoon at Penn State Behrend.

Alexa Holleran and Emily Fowkes gave the Panthers their best chance of earning a point, falling 8-6 at first doubles.

"Our serves were so-so and our volleys were a little stiff, but we played with more determination than we have played with all season," said Pitt-Bradford women's tennis coach Susan Schenfield. "We engaged in continuous rallies and played more consecutive returns. If we can become more consistent we will be able to accomplish more in our coming matches."

The Panthers return to action Thursday against Medaille at 4 p.m. at the Kessel Athletic Complex.
