The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford women's tennis team fell, 9-0, at Penn State Altoona on Sunday afternoon.

Alexa Holleran and Emily Fowkes nearly pulled off a victory at first doubles, but ultimately fell, 9-8.

"Alexa continues to play agressively and has been developing greater confidence against some of the top players in the conference," said Pitt-Bradford head coach Susan Schenfield. "We have been bringing more energy to the matches and we have to continue to work hard and try to put the pieces together to break through and reach our maximum potential."

The Panthers return to action Tuesday at Penn State Behrend at 4 p.m.
