
Bradford, Pa. -- The Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference released their Athletes of the Week on Monday and Pitt-Bradford women's soccer player Mya King was recognized.
King led the Panthers to a 1-0-1 weekend participating in four of five Panther goals. She totaled three goals and an assist on nine shots, seven of which were on goal.
In the draw at Bard, the freshman scored her first career goal to tie the game at Bard. She also assisted another goal which put the Panthers in front. Against SUNY Cobleskill, King scored both goals in the contest, opening the scoring in the third minute from 25 yards before putting the game away in the 70th. The Panthers defeated SUNY Cobleskill 2-0.
King is the first Panther women's soccer player to earn an AMCC Player of the Week honor since the 2018 season.
The Panthers will be back at home on Saturday afternoon when they host Thiel as part of Pantherfest. Kickoff is slated for 3:00 p.m.
