Bradford, PA. -- University of Pittsburgh at Bradford women's soccer team member Mya King has torn up the Panthers' competition over the last week. On Monday, she earned her second straight AMCC Offensive Player of the Week honor.
In a week when the Panthers outscored their competition 20-0, King scored 5 goals and assisted on 4 others. She totaled 21 shots and put 13 of them on target. In the Panthers 15-0 win over Penn State-Beaver, she recorded a hat trick in the first 45 minutes and then added a pair of assists. Over the weekend, she participated in four of 5 second-half goals in the win over Thiel. She scored the first and final goal for the Panthers and also provided the assist on two others.
King currently leads the AMCC in points (21), goals (8) assists (5), and shots (30). Nationally, she is 6th in points per game (4.20) 7th in goals, 4th in points, and 12th in assists.
The Panthers are 3-1-1 through the first two weeks of the season. They will have the rest of the week off, before returning to action on Saturday at Keystone.
