WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. -- The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford wrestling team competed in the Lycoming Duals Monday.
Also competing were Muhlenberg, Pennsylvania Tech, King's (Pa.) and the host Lycoming.
Pitt-Bradford dropped its first three duals of the day before ending up with a victory over King's.
Pitt-Bradford got the day started against Muhlenberg an fell 45-4.
Derek Ridgeway (165) picked up the win for the Panthers in the match by major decision 11-2.
Then, the Panthers took on Penn Tech and lost 35-5.
Quentin Ellis (184) picked up the points for the Panthers with a forfeit win.
In the third round, the host Lycoming defeated the Panthers 46-6.
Ellis grabbed his second win of the day with a pin in 2:16.
Pitt-Bradford ended the day on a high note as it picked up a 30-16 victory over King's.
Neiko Kuntz (141) won his matchup with a pin in 4:12.
Ridgeway, Ellis, Mitch Dowd (184) and Garrett Smead (285) each picked up wins by forfeit.
Monday's action marks the final of 2018 for the Pitt-Bradford wrestling team. The Panthers will hit the mats once again on Jan. 5 at the Waynesburg Invitational.
