
Bradford, Pa. -- Brookelyn Garvey of the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford women's bowling team was recognized as the top competitor in the conference last week as she was named AMCC Bowler of the Week on Wednesday.
The senior led Pitt-Bradford to a 3-0 sweep of Penn State-Behend in a dual match over the weekend. In two traditional matches, she bowled a 244 and 203, averaging 22.35 pins per frame, a 9.35 first ball score, and a 65% strike percentage. In a 4-1 baker win, she averaged 19.0 pins per frame.
She is the second Panther to win the Bowler of the Week award this season, as Mackenzie Gill previously won it on October 16th. Garvey has previously won the award 3 other times in her career, once in each of her previous three seasons.
