Panthers Take 3rd at Western Pennsylvania Baker Shootout

Greensburg, Pa. -- The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford was back in action for another USBC event in Greensburg. The Panthers bowled 28 baker format games with final standings decided by total pinfall over the games. The Panthers finished the event in 3rd place with 4604 pins.

The Panthers averaged a score of 164.42 pins per game, and had their best game to start the day, finishing at 200. They reached 190 pins 6 other times and scored more than 150 pins in 20 of 28 games. They nearly took second place, as they finished just 3 pins behind Rio Grande.

The Panthers will have two weeks to prepare for a dual match with Penn State-Behrend before they head into the second AMCC Round Robin of the season.
