Panthers Taking on Wolves in Final Home Game of Fall Semester

Bradford, Pa. -- The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford women's basketball team will host Keuka on Friday night, playing their last home game in non-conference play.

The Panthers have yet to find a win this season as they are off to an 0-7 start. In their last game, the Panthers hit the road, falling to Thiel 71-62. The Panthers were able to take an 18-14 lead into the second quarter, but a rough start to the period saw the hosts take the lead, and control of the game. Ashley Hall set a new career high with 20 points in the game. She made 7-17 from the field and 6-13 from three. She also led the team with 9 rebounds. Avery Benzel had her best game of the year, scoring 12 points and tallying 6 rebounds and 7 assists. McKenna KJelly also scored 12 points and grabbed 8 rebounds, with 4 of them coming on the offensive end.

Hall leads the team with 10.9 points and 6.4 rebounds per game. She is 6th in the AMCC in three-point percentage, making 37.2% of her shots from beyond the arc. Freshman Abigail Goss adds 6.4 points and 5.0 rebounds per game, while Daizjah Brown has been the main threat for the Panthers off the bench, scoring 6.0 points per game.

The Keuka College Wolves are 3-5 so far this season. They have wins over fellow AMCC foes Alfred State and Mount Aloysius as well as a 41-34 victory over Cazenovia. They enter on a three-game losing skid, including a 54-70 loss to Russell Sage in their last contest. Mary Cotter scored 22 points to lead the wolves in the loss. She made 7-16 from the field and 6-12 from three. Meg McGwin added 12 points and 6 rebounds. Lauren Hill tallied 9 assists in the game. For the season, Sydney Brown leads the wolves with 10.8 points per game. Hill is just behind her at 10.0. Cotter and McGwin are also important contributors for Keuka, scoring 8.9 and 8.8 points per game respectively. McGwin leads the rebounding effort with 6.5 per game, while Hill adds 6.1.

The game is scheduled for a 7:30 tip-off, but may start early or be delayed pending the result of the men's game before it. The game will include break entertainment from the cheerleading team and pep bad.
