BRADFORD, Pa. -- The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford women's basketball team will hit the road for its second contest away from the KOA Arena Wednesday evening at Lock Haven.
Pitt-Bradford is in search of its first victory of the season, coming off a road setback at Houghton in its 2018-19 premiere last Friday and a narrow loss in its home opener Saturday against Chatham.
Saturday, Shaelyn Snipes recorded a career-high 25 points to lead Pitt-Bradford while Latifah Cain dropped 19 points.
Jennifer Isenberg scored 10 points and pulled in a game-high 17 rebounds to record a double-double.
Snipes also knocked down five of the team's eight three-pointers -- which is also a career mark.
The Division III squad Lock Haven split its two season-opening contests in the MEC/PSAC Challenge at Fairmont State, first defeating Concord University Friday before falling to Fairmont State Saturday.
Wednesday's game is set for a 7 p.m. tipoff.
