BRADFORD, Pa. – The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford women's basketball team will host Penn State-Altoona for its annual Pink game and the final regular-season home game Wednesday for an Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference contest.

The aim of the Pink game is to raise awareness and support for breast cancer. 

The Pitt-Bradford women's basketball team will be hosting a bake sale and collecting donations in the lobby of the KOA Arena to raise money for McKean County Relay for Life -- a fundraising event for the American Cancer Society.

Members of the women's team will be wearing pink jerseys, and anyone attending the game is encouraged to wear pink in support of the Panthers' efforts to raise money for the fight against cancer.

The KOA Arena will be embellished with pink decorations.

Also, free hot chocolate will be given to all students who write a thank you can to donors as part of Philanthropy Day.

Pitt-Bradford is tied for third place in the AMCC with Medaille at 9-7 in conference play.

Senior guard Ali Rinfrette enters Wednesday's game just three points shy of reaching 2,000 points for her career. On Dec. 2, she became Pitt-Bradford women's basketball's All-Time leading scorer, so she would be the first 2,000-point scorer in the program's history. 

Rinfrette leads the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference with 22.0 points per game, the only player in the conference to hold a scoring average over 20 points per game. Her scoring average is also good for ninth in the country.

Also playing 39.0 minutes per game, she is second in the nation in minutes played per game.

Last week, she was voted HEROSports.com's D3 Women's Basketball HERO of the Week and was honored as the AMCC Player of the Week for the second time this season.

Jennifer Isenberg has been crucial to the Panthers' success, averaging 13.1 points per game and pulling down the fourth-most rebounds in the conference with 9.6 boards per game.

Isenberg is coming off an 18-point performance against Penn State-Behrend on Saturday. She went 8-14 from the field and 2-2 from the free-throw line.

With 10 points and six assists in 31 minutes Saturday, Bri Wells has become an integral part of the Panthers' lineup.

Wednesday's game is set for a 7 p.m. tipoff.
