BRADFORD, Pa. – The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford women's basketball team will return home Saturday for Senior Day, hosting Penn State-Behrend for an Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference game.
Prior to tipoff, the Panthers' lone senior Ali Rinfrette will be honored for her four years as a Pitt-Bradford student-athlete for Senior Day.
Entering Saturday, Rinfrette has 1,974 career points – 26 points shy of becoming the first 2,000-point scorer in Pitt-Bradford women's basketball history.
The reigning AMCC Player of the Week leads the conference with 21.9 points per game, which also ranks 10th nationally.
The Panthers are coming off earning the season sweep of Medaille on Wednesday.
Rinfrette scored 34 points to lead all scorers, accounting for more than half of the Panthers' total points.
Jennifer Isenberg collected 10 rebounds and Etreece Adams scored eight points and grabbed as many rebounds.
With the win, the Panthers stand alone in third place in the AMCC at 9-6. Medaille and Pitt-Bradford entered Wednesday in a three-way tie with La Roche for third.
Pitt-Bradford is looking to avenge an 84-74 loss at Penn State-Behrend on Jan. 6.
Isenberg is the second-leading scorer for the Panthers with 12.9 points per game, and she's also the fifth-best rebounder in the AMCC at 9.7 boards per contest.
Saturday's game is set for a 3 p.m. tipoff with Senior Day ceremonies taking place shortly before.
The Pitt-Bradford basketball programs will also be hosting McKean County Special Olympics Saturday for Special Olympics Day.

- The Penn State-Behrend Lions come to the KOA Arena with a 9-13 overall record and a 7-8 mark in AMCC games. Entering Saturday, the Lions hold the sixth playoff spot in the AMCC.
