
BRADFORD, Pa. – Senior Ali Rinfrette of the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford women's basketball team has been named a finalist for D3 Women's Basketball HERO of the Week.
Rinfrette's performance Wednesday against D'Youville has her up for the award named by HEROsports.com. The award is given to the top single-game performance of the week determined by a fan vote.
The Bradford native scored 25 points and grabbed 11 rebounds for a double-double while also dishing five assists, corralling four steals, blocking two shots and knocking down a pair of three-pointers.
Her performance helped the Panthers to an 80-69 win over D'Youville at the KOA Arena – the team's fourth-straight win at the time.
The HERO of the Week is determined by a fan vote. The poll can be reached here.
