BRADFORD, Pa. – The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford women's basketball team will look to complete the season sweep over Franciscan and win its third-straight game Saturday as Franciscan comes to the KOA Arena for an Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference matchup.

Pitt-Bradford defeated Franciscan, 82-43, on Dec. 9 on the road. The Panther defense had its best game of the season as it forced a season-high 35 Baron turnovers and the 43 points allowed is the fewest a team has scored on the Panthers in a single game so far this season. Additionally, Franciscan made 14 field goals, the second-fewest a team has made against Pitt-Bradford this season.

The Panthers are coming off a 20-point victory over Alfred State Wednesday, the team's fourth win decided by 20 points or more.

The victory is the Panthers' second straight, and the team has now won five of its last six contests.

Jennifer Isenberg earned her eighth double-double of the season with a career-high 25 points and 14 rebounds. Both totals were also game highs.

Three more Panthers scored in double-figures as Shaelyn Snipes scored 15 points, Bri Wells scored 12 points and Ali Rinfrette scored 10 points.

From start to finish, the Panther defense was causing trouble for the Alfred State offense. In total, the Panthers forced 25 turnovers and grabbed 19 steals. 

Rinfrette continues to lead the AMCC in scoring with 20.8 points per game, which ranks her 16th nationally. Her 38.9 minutes played per game is also the fourth-best average in the country.

Isenberg has climbed to third on the conference's rebounding list with 9.6 boards per contest. Averaging 13.4 points per game, she has eight double-doubles so far this season.

Pitt-Bradford owns the top scoring offense in the conference at 70.6 points per contest. On defense, the Panthers surrender 66.5 points per game.

The Pitt-Bradford department of athletics and Alpha Phi Omega chapter will host the third-annual "Teal There's a Cure" campaign Saturday to raise awareness for ovarian cancer. Players will wear teal t-shirts during warmups and on the bench.

T-shirts, ribbons and cookies will be sold, and a table for donations will be set up in the lobby of the KOA Arena.

All money raised will be donated to the Evans-Krivak Gynecological Cancer Research Foundation, founded by Bradford residents, Dr. George and Susan Evans, who is an ovarian cancer survivor and established the fund in honor of Dr. Thomas Krivak, the doctor who treated her.

Saturday's game is set for a 4 p.m. tipoff.
