BRADFORD, Pa. – The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford women's basketball team will look for its third-straight win as Pitt-Greensburg comes to the KOA Arena for an Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference matchup.
Ali Rinfrette led the Panthers with 25 points, her fourth-straight game of 20+ points and third in the four games with 25+ points.
Jennifer Isenberg scored 18 points to help power the Panther offense, her fourth-straight game scoring in double-figures.
Shaelyn Snipes also put together a strong offensive performance with 15 points.
13 seconds into the contest, Snipes knocked down a three-ball and the Panthers gained an early lead from which they would not look back from as they held the advantage for the final 39:47 minutes of the contest.
With the win, the Panthers even up their conference record and improve to 4-4 in AMCC play. Pitt-Bradford enters Saturday in fifth place in the conference.
Rinfrette continues to shine as one of the nation's top scorers. Her AMCC-leading 22.0 points per game is good for 11th nationally.
The Bradford, Pa., native does more than just score, though, as she leads the team in assists per game at 4.7 and steals per game at 2.7. Her 7.1 rebounds per game is the second-best average on the team.
Pitt-Bradford has two of the top three-point shooters in the conference as Rinfrette's 37.9 percent from long range is the second-best percentage in the AMCC and Snipes' 33.9 percent on three-point field goal attempts is third best.
Isenberg has emerged as a dual-threat for Pitt-Bradford as she has elevated her scoring average to 11.9 points per game with four-straight games scoring in double-figures. She is also the fifth-best rebounder in the AMCC at 8.7 boards per game. She has a team-leading five double-doubles so far this season.
Saturday's game was originally set to begin at 4 p.m. but has been pushed back one hour due to severe weather and will now begin at 5 p.m. as the second game of a doubleheader with the men's game coming before. (Updated 4:15 p.m., 1/12/18)
