The Pitt-Bradford women's hoops team forced a season-high 32 turnovers Wednesday afternoon en route to winning its third straight contest, beating John Jay 74-46 in New York City.

The Panthers turned the 32 miscues into 18 points and matched a season-high with 11 made three-pointers. It marked the fourth time this season the Pitt-Bradford women have forced opponents into 20 or more turnovers.

Pitt-Bradford led 18-12 after the opening quarter and scored the first six points of the second quarter to push its advantage to double-digits. The Panthers finished the frame outscoring the Bloodhounds 19-6 to take a 19-point halftime lead.

The women connected for five threes in the third quarter as the margin ballooned to 37 before the final horn sounded.

All nine Panthers scored in the game and six different players hit a three-pointer. Pitt-Bradford shot 39 percent while limiting the Bloodhounds to 35 percent shooting, and the Panthers outrebounded John Jay by four, including 16-8 on the offensive glass.

Ali Rinfrette netted a game-high 30 points on 12 of 16 shooting, including hitting five three-pointers. Shirleah Ragin chipped in with 12 points in her first start of the season, and Darien Lantz added eight points and eight assists. Stephanie Maciag pulled down eight boards, and Brittany Watts and Rinfrette totaled four steals each.

Pitt-Bradford improves to 5-5 on the year and resumes AMCC play next Wednesday at home against Penn State Altoona.
