Rinfrette, Owens, Brate Earn All-AMCC Honors

Three University of Pittsburgh at Bradford women's basketball players were named to the All-Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference team for their terrific seasons on the hardwood.

Ali Rinfrette was named to the first team while Kaserra Owens was a second team selection and Abby Brate was named to the third team.

Rinfrette led the Panthers in scoring and was among the top scorers in the conference with 22 points per game. She also added a team-high 7.7 rebounds per game and was named the AMCC's Player of the Week three times throughout the 2015-16 season.

Owens earned second team honors for averaging 11 points per game, which was second among the Panther's offense. She was second on the team in rebounding with 6.5 boards per game. For as much as she contributed offensively, she was even more valuable on the defensive end, gathering 2.6 steals per game.

Brate finished her career with a strong senior season. The four-year starter earned third team honors, following a successful season where she averaged 10.7 points per game. She also added a team-high 5.4 assists per game and a very impressive 2.5 assists to turnover ratio. She was among the conference, and nations, best in those two categories.

The Panthers finished the season with an overall record of 18-10 and made it all the way to the AMCC title game in Brown's first season as head coach.
