
Bradford, PA -- The Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference released its 2025 Softball All-Conference Selections on Tuesday, and the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford had three members of its team recognized.
Junior Krislyn Clement and Sophomore Sara Stroup were named to the first team in the designated player and utility positions, while sophomore Miranda Groll made the second team as an outfielder.
Krislyn Clement finished the season as the Panthers' top hitter, while splitting time at DP, shortstop, and pitcher. She slashed .430/.482/.780 with 5 home runs, 17 runs scored, and 31 RBI. She was 3rd in the AMCC in batting average, 6th in on-base percentage, 2nd in slugging, 4th in home runs, 4th in RBI, and 2nd in extra-base hits. In AMCC play, she led the conference in home runs (3) and RBI (19). This is her second time on the all-conference team as she was a 2nd-team performer as a shortstop and pitcher.
Sara Stroup had another strong offensive year while splitting time at shortstop and catcher. She slashed .376/.463/.673 with 6 home runs, 28 RBI, 27 runs scored, and 8 stolen bases. Her home run total was tied for 1st at the end of the regular season. Stroup finished top ten in RBI, and on-base percentage, and was 3rd in the AMCC in slugging. This is Stroup's 2nd straight 1st team all-conference nod at utility.
Finally, sophomore Miranda Groll made her debut on the all-conference team as she was named 2nd Team All-AMCC as an outfielder. The Panthers' leadoff hitter hit .327 with 30 runs scored, 1 home run, 9 RBI, and 20 stolen bases. She was 8th in the AMCC in runs scored and tied for 3rd in steals. Groll is also recognized as one of the conference's top defensive outfielders, patrolling the center of the field with ease, while also registering 4 outfield assists.
The Panthers finished their season 11-25 with a 7-9 mark in AMCC play. They qualified for the AMCC tournament for the 7th consecutive season.
