BRADFORD, Pa, -- The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford men's tennis team will play its first match of the 2017-18 season Saturday, traveling to Geneva.
Although technically a spring sport, Saturday's action will count as an official match toward the team's overall season record.
Pitt-Bradford is looking to build upon a 2-8 season a year ago.
Three juniors, four sophomores and a freshman make up the roster.
Last season, the Panthers and Geneva squared off in the fall, with Pitt-Bradford coming out on top, 6-3 (Sept. 16, 2016).
Geneva has played a match so far this fall, capturing a 6-3 win over Mt. Vernon Nazarene on Sept. 16.
