BRADFORD, Pa. -- The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford men's soccer team remained undefeated with a 3-1 victory over Chatham Saturday afternoon at the Kessel Athletics Complex.

With the victory, Pitt-Bradford improves to a blemish-free 3-0 record while Chatham drops to 1-2.

After a quiet opening 39 minutes, Pitt-Bradford jumped on the board first with a goal in the 40th minute.

Scott Compson received a feed from Chase Rider at the top of the box and buried it.

Then just three minutes later, Compson took a corner kick and found the head of Ugwunna Amadi, who put it in the back of the net to double the Panther lead.

After halftime, Pitt-Bradford was awarded a penalty kick, and Brent Kennedy cleaned up the rebound and put it past the Chatham keeper to put the Panthers ahead 3-0 68 minutes into the contest.

Chatham scored its lone goal of the match in the 82nd minute, and their comeback effort would fall short as Pitt-Bradford held on for the win.

Pitt-Bradford outshot Chatham 17-10 and put 10 of those 17 attempts on goal.

Thomas Kelly led the team's effort with six shots and three on net while Kennedy fired four times and put two on goal.

Compson and Amadi each put two shots on goal.

Sihle Sizani played all 90 minutes in goal and stopped five of the six shots sent his way. He improves to 3-0 on the season as the Panther keeper. 

Up next, the Panthers will play three-straight road contests starting with a 7 p.m. showdown at Alfred on Wednesday.
