The Pitt-Bradford men's soccer team rallied in the second half Saturday against La Roche and eventually played the Redhawks to a 1-1 tie.

La Roche led 1-0 at the break after outshooting the Panthers 11-1 in the first stanza. The Panthers responded in the 56th minute when Michael Giopulos played a ball through the defense to Brian Bao, who dribbled past a defender and scored for his fourth goal of the season.

Bao nearly put the Panthers ahead moments later but his header hit the crossbar. The teams exchanged shots over the final 30 minutes of regulation yet neither team could push across the game-winning score.

The two overtime periods never produced a legitimate scoring chance despite featuring seven shots.

La Roche outshot the Panthers 22-8 and held a 7-1 advantage in corner kicks. Colin Frownfelter finished with 10 saves in net for Pitt-Bradford.

Pitt-Bradford moves to 1-10-2 on the season and travels to Penn State Behrend Wednesday.
