The Pitt-Bradford men's soccer team let a 2-1 lead slip away in the second half Wednesday against Hilbert and eventually settled for a 2-2 tie in double-overtime.

Pitt-Bradford led 1-0 at the break on Steve McFetridge's header in the 10th minute. Brian Bao sent a pass into the box and McFetridge finished in the top corner for his second score in as many games.

Hilbert drew even in the 60th minute after a deflected ball played between two players found Tyler Eister at midfield. Eister outran the defense and squeezed a shot past Pitt-Bradford's Colin Frownfelter to level the match.

Tyler Koch answered seconds later for the Panthers, chasing down a ball played over the defense by Aaron Smith. Koch was denied on his first attempt by the Hilbert keeper, but he quickly gathered his rebound and scored to push Pitt-Bradford ahead 2-1.

In the 77th minute, Hilbert was awarded a penalty kick after the Panthers were whistled for a foul in the box, and Matthew Barth converted, knotting the score at two apiece.

In the first overtime period, Pitt-Bradford's Fred Agou nearly delivered a game-winner but his shot glanced off the post, and Noah Black's attempt in double-overtime was turned back as neither team could muster much offensively.

Hilbert outshot the Panthers 24-21 and held a slim 7-5 advantage in corner kicks. Frownfelter finished with six saves for the Blue and Gold.

Pitt-Bradford moves to 1-8-1 on the season and 1-1-1 in conference play. The Panthers entertain Franciscan Saturday at 3:15 p.m.
