Penn State Altoona Roughs Up Men's Soccer

Penn State Altoona blitzed the Pitt-Bradford men's soccer team, 9-0, Saturday in the teams' AMCC opener.

The Lions scored four minutes into the contest and led 4-0 at the break. Penn State Altoona outshot the Panthers 32-5, and both teams attempted three corner kicks. Colin Frownfelter and Andrew Hoyt split time in net for Pitt-Bradford. Frownfelter registered three saves and Hoyt had two. Matthew Perry led the Panthers with two shot attempts.

Pitt-Bradford drops to 0-7 on the season and will seek its first victory Wednesday at Alfred State.
