Spartans Edge Panthers, 1-0

BUFFALO, N.Y. – The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford men's soccer team (1-10, 0-6) dropped a tough, 1-0, decision at D'Youville College (2-11, 1-4) on Tuesday afternoon.

Ben Neuss scored the only goal of the game, gathering a loose ball in the box and sending it into the net in the 78th minute to give the Spartans the victory.

"As a team, we have left it all out on the field this year," said Pitt-Bradford head coach Darek Panol. "Unfortunately, our injuries have taken a toll on our results."

Colin Frownfelter collected a season-high 17 saves in the loss. Josiah Blick mustered three shots while Jah Wilson, Samuel Franchi and Chris Wise added one shot.

The Panthers were without injured starters Meleki Wamalume and Amadou Sow in the loss.
Pitt-Bradford returns to action Saturday at 1 p.m. against Penn State Altoona at the Kessel Athletic Complex.
