Barons Top Panthers, 4-0, in AMCC Opener

STEUBENVILLE, Oh. – The Pitt-Bradford men's soccer team (1-5-1) opened AMCC play with a 4-0 loss at Fransican (4-4-1) on Saturday afternoon.

"The boys left it all on the field today," said Pitt-Bradford men's soccer coach, Darek Panol. "We just seemed to be a step too slow to every tackle, which led to their first three goals."

Pitt-Bradford mustered seven shots in the loss, including three from Amadou Sow. Jah Wilson, Bobby Sorokas and Josiah Blick also added shots for the Panthers while Colin Frownfelter picked up six saves in goal.

The Barons got off to a fast start, scoring three goals in the first half. Leo Hermann led Fransican with three goals while Thomas Dosedel earned the shutout in net.

The Panthers continue AMCC play Tuesday at 1 p.m against Medaille at the Kessel Athletic Complex.
