Stack Wins 2nd Straight Defensive Player of the Week Award

Bradford, Pa. -- The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford men's lacrosse program picked up its 5th AMCC Athlete of the Week award of the season on Monday as freshman goalie Evan Stack was named the conference's top defensive player from March 31st through April 6th.

Stack went 2-0 last week, including a crucial 7-6 win over Hilbert in AMCC play. He stopped 69.7% of the shots that he faced, making 23 saves and allowing just 10 goals over the two games.

Through 6 games played, Stack has a 4-2 record and leads the AMCC in save percentage, stopping 65.2% os the shots he has faced. He is second in goals allowed average at 9.19 and saves per game, 14.33, and third in total saves at 86. 

The Panthers return to action on Saturday, April 12th, when they host Alfred State in another crucial conference matchup.
