Panthers Finish Tied for 13th at Grove City Invite

Grove City, Pa. -- The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford golf team returned to the links on Wednesday for the Grove City Invitational. They finished the invite tied for 13th, posting a team score of 333.

The Panthers score put them in a tie with LaRoche for 13th. They were in a large group of teams as only 13 strokes separated 8th place from 16th. 

Individually, Pitt-Bradford's best finisher was Max Bizzak at 79. He finished tied for 29th. Ben Tubbs finished tied for 62nd with a score of 83. Brady Susi had a strong back 9, posting a 39 on the final 9 holes. He finished with an 18-hole score of 85 to finish tied for 73rd. Brody Kamuda rounded out the scoring for the Panthers at 86. He was able to card 4 birdies in the round. Michael Peterson just missed out on a scoring position, finishing 1 stroke behind Kamuda at 87.

The Panthers will have one final tune-up before the AMCC Championship Tournament. Next Wednesday they will head to Peek 'n Peak resort for a tri-match with Penn State-Behrend and Hilbert.
