Panthers Take 5th at Saint Vincent Invitational

Latrobe, PA. -- The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford golf team was back in action on Monday, as they traveled to Latrobe, PA. to play in the Saint Vincent Invitational. The Panthers recorded a team score of 342, which put them in 5th.

The Panthers were 7 strokes behind Waynesburg in 4th place. Pitt-Greensburg won the event at 324.

Ben Tubbs led the way for Pitt-Bradford, finishing in 12th with a score of 83. He recorded 4 birdies on the day. Brody Kamuda finished just a stroke behind Tubbs at 84, and took 14th. Michael Peterson shot an 85 and finished in a tie for 17th. Finally, Max Bizzak and Andrew Heinze both finished at 90 to round out the scoring. they were tied for 43rd place. 

Two other Panthers competed at the event as individuals. Brady Susi shot an 87 and finished in 27th. Shane Wetherington posted an 89 and took 37th. 

Pitt-Bradford will be back in action over the weekend with the two-day Region V Championship Tournament at Manakiki Country Club in Willoughby, Ohio. The event will help prepare the Panthers for the AMCC Championship Tournament in October. Action will tee off on Saturday at 9:00 a.m.
