Golf Team Ready to Tee Up 2023

Bradford, Pa. – The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford golf team will return to the links this fall, looking to improve on their 3rd place finish at last year’s AMCC Championships.

The Panthers had an improved season in 2022, winning one tournament, while taking third place in both the season-opening Pitt-Bradford Invitational and the AMCC Championship Tournament. A pair of golfers were recognized by the conference, as Brody Kamuda was named 1st Team All-AMCC, while Connor Smith made the second team.

Pitt-Bradford brings back both all-conference honorees, as well as Max Bizzak, had a strong spring season, carding an 82 and an 80 in two events, and Andrew Heinze. Additionally, the Panthers have added talented freshman Curtis Barner and transfer student Ben Tubbs to their roster, adding to their competition depth. Barner was a three-time PIAA state qualifier in high school, while Tubbs has two career victories and shot a 72 at last year’s Pitt-Bradford Invitational.

The Panthers will start their season on Saturday, September 2nd as they host the Pitt-Bradford Invitational. They have 7 additional events this fall, including the AMCC Championship Tournament on October 9th and 10th.
